What We Will Do At Your Plumbing Inspections

Safety Check Your Home

Your service technician will walk through your home and assess your plumbing system. All gas and water control valves throughout your home will be checked and labeled to ensure that they will operate in case of an emergency. The technician will show you these locations and how to shut them off in the event of an emergency.

Hot Water System

Your service technician will make sure the thermostat is set to the correct temperature, visually check the pressure relief valve for the safe operation and make sure it’s free of corrosion. If electric, we will check the correct temperature settings and ensure the water heater is operating at its peak efficiency as per the manufacture’s specifications.

If you have a storage tank, we will flush it annually during your plan period. Flushing and draining the tank removes sediment build-up and will improve water quality and prolong the life of your tank.

Toilets, Taps Flexible Water Hoses & Water Pressure

Your service technician will check all your toilets, taps and flexible hoses in your home for correct operation. They will also inspect the toilet bowl and cistern for any leaks and ensure its flushing correctly. Check the mains water pressure to ensure the pressure is not too high which can lead to equipment damage.

Camera Inspection of Sewer & Stormwater Drains

If required, your service technician will carry out a camera inspection of your sewer and stormwater systems from an accessible inspection point to check the condition of the lines and ensure that there are no damaged pipes or tree roots in your lines that you cannot see which can cause potential blockages.
